Wymondham & District Bridge Club
The town of Wymondham lies approximately 9 miles southwest of Norwich. The club was formed in 1975 and started playing duplicate bridge in the Green Dragon Public House. It later moved to a different watering hole, the Queens Head. During the 1988/1989 season the club moved to its present location, the Abbey Hall.
The club is noted for its friendly atmosphere and over the year a range of competitions are held, teams and pairs. The membership at present stands at about 80, with at least 10 tables for most evenings. There is a range of abilities in the club, from those who have recently progressed from bridge classes, up to county players.
Visitors are welcome on most evenings, but please check with the Secretary on 01953 483759.
